Completion of the 3rd Congress of the TUI Pensioners and Retirees

The works of the 3^rd Congress of the TUI Pensioners and Retirees, which took place on the 15^th and 16^th of April in Athens under the slogan "Let's strengthen the International pensioners' organization of the WFTU", have concluded today.

The documents of the Congress have been discussed and adopted by the delegates. The Congress also elected the new leadership of the Trade Union International P&R, which is called to guide the implementation of the decisions taken.

The WFTU wishes all the best to the new leadership and the elected bodies of the TUI, and expresses the sureness that the decisions of the 3rd Congress will be a strong reinforcement of the class-oriented trade union movement for the Pensioners and their struggles all around the world.
