Airing from 11:30 p.m.-12:36 a.m.,the first late-night segment of ABC's "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023"attracted 13.7 million Total Viewersandaveraged 4.1/29 among Adults 18-49. ABC's annual New Year's Eve specialdrew in 17.8 million Total Viewers and hit a 5.3 Adult 18-49 rating in the midnight quarter-hour.

Part 1 ranked as the No. 1 entertainment program on New Year's Eve in Adults 18-49 (4.1/29), more than doubling NBC's "Miley's New Year's Eve Party" (+173% - 1.5/10 from 10:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.) and more than tripling CBS' "New Year's Eve Live: Nashville's Big Bash" (+242% - 1.2/8 from 11:30 p.m.-12:30 a.m.). In fact, ABC beat the combined deliveries of NBC and CBS by 52% among Adults 18-49 (4.1/29 vs. 2.7/18 for "Miley's New Year's Eve Party" and "Nashville's Big Bash"). Part 1 of "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023" was also the No. 1 entertainment program of the evening in Total Viewers (13.7 million).

"Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2023" stood as the evening's No. 1 most social program across all of TV (2,544,320 total social interactions) and was the No. 1 driver of social video views on the night (4,573,124 total video views).
