DXP Safety Division & Honeywell Partner to Win Large Gas Detection Project

DXP's Gas Detection Solution

We get more done when we work together. Odessa Customer Service Manager Jonathan Bland and Honeywell Regional Sales Manager Robert Champlin spent countless hours collaborating on their latest gas detection project. After assessing the situation, the two worked closely to develop a strategy and specific products to standardize the customer's gas detection across their operations. The scope of the project was substantial.

This project started in 2019, before the rise of COVID-19. Unfortunately, the pandemic did slow the progress, but thanks to the diligence and tenacity of Jonathan and Robert, they were able to close the deal! They never took their eyes off the prize and maintained constant contact with the customer-even when their point of contact changed three times!

The new products were officially implemented in the fourth quarter of 2021 with a total revenue of upwards of $800,000. More recently, in April of 2022, a few select DXP Safety Division representatives were invited to attend a Honeywell Partner Conference, where we received the Best Growth Driving Partner award. There's a reason DXP is a top leader in the safety industry.
