Rosen Bipartisan Resolution Recognizing Jewish American Heritage Month Passes the Senate Unanimously

WASHINGTON, DC - Today, Senators Jacky Rosen announced that the Senate unanimously passed her bipartisan resolution, co-led by Rick Scott (R-FL), celebrating the month of May as Jewish American Heritage Month. This resolution celebrates the many contributions of Jewish Americans to the United States and calls on elected officials, faith leaders, and civil society leaders to condemn and combat any and all acts of antisemitism.

"At a time when antisemitism is at a record high in America, it's more important than ever to celebrate Jewish heritage in the United States," said Senator Rosen. "I'm proud to have helped introduce and unanimously pass this bipartisan resolution to honor the countless contributions Jewish Americans have made to our nation's history and culture. I'll keep fighting in the Senate to build a more inclusive, welcoming nation where Jewish Americans can proudly express their faith and identity."

As the only Jewish woman currently serving in the U.S. Senate, Senator Rosen has been leading the efforts to fight antisemitism and stand up for the Jewish community. Last month, Senator Rosen introduced the bipartisan Countering Antisemitism Act to take historic action to counter antisemitism in the United States by establishing a first-ever National Coordinator to Counter Antisemitism.
