Northeast Louisiana Office of Public Health, community partners to host health and wellness event May 18 in Jonesboro

The Louisiana Department of Health's (LDH) Office of Public Health (OPH) in Northeast Louisiana and community partners will host a free Stepping into Summer Health and Wellness event on Saturday, May 18 from 9 a.m. to noon at Louisiana Civil Rights Trail, 135 Richard Zuber Thruway (U.S. Highway 167), Jonesboro.

This day of services, information and fun includes a walk/run, OPH and Medicaid vendors, local medical offices, physical activities, free food and more.

Partners are the Town of Jonesboro, Pine Belt Multi-Purpose CAA, Inc., and Jonesboro State Bank.
