During HispanicHeritageMonth, USD will be highlighting stories of people in the USD community that are giving back through acts of service, showcasing how "USD esta contigo" or "USD is with you." These video stories will also be featured locally on Univision San Diego.

Diana Montoya Herrera is an integrated engineering student at USD. Herrera is also a part of the first cohort of students in the College Corps program which provides students with a stipend for college tuition in exchange for hands-on community service work.
