The University of Pisa's 'E. Avanzi' Agro-Environmental Research Centre, with which the Institute of Plant Sciences of the Sant'Anna School has been collaborating for years, has reactivated the "Bancolat", a new 0 km raw milk distributor available to all citizens every day at the "E. Avanzi" Research Centre's premises, and the Institute shares and supports this choice. As the Institute of Plant Sciences emphasises, the 'Bancolat' can increasingly educate consumers towards conscious food choices, favouring short and sustainable supply chains, and the hope is that the initiative will be crowned with success.

For more information on the 'Bancolat' and how to use the service, this video is available.
