Beginning Wednesday, August 10, and continuing through Friday, August 12, a 2,000-foot-long rail delivery train will be delivering rail sticks to various locations along the 9.1-mile Foothill Gold Line light rail project from Glendora to Pomona. As the train travels through the corridor, all street-level crossings will be impacted. Safety gates will go down, and the train will blow its horn (as is required by the Federal Railway Administration). This is the final of three rail deliveries for the project.

At locations where the train will be off-loading the rail sticks (which are 1,600 feet long), street-level crossings will be impacted at least once, and may be impacted multiple times. Crossing gates will come down for approximately three to five minutes each time. Expect minor delays, and please be patient.

Rail deliveries will take place between 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily, starting Wednesday and continuing through Friday.

STAY SAFE
Please stay alert for the rail delivery train. The horn will be blown as the rail delivery train comes through the crossings. Do not try to enter the crossing when the crossing gates are coming down or have come down. Wait until the crossing gates are fully up.
