BEIJING, Aug. 10 -- According to the Transportation and Delivery Bureau of the Logistic Support Department under the China's Central Military Commission (CMC), more than 150 remote border and coastal defense locations of the Chinese People's Liberation Army (PLA) have opened postal routes and been integrated into the national logistics system, bringing highly efficient and convenient modern logistics to the border troops.

In recent years, related divisions under the CMC Logistic Support Department have actively cooperated with China's State Post Bureau and China Post Group Co.,Ltd. to integrate into the national logistics system some remote border and coastal defense locations with poor roads, weak social support, harsh natural conditions and difficulties in postal communication. These efforts aim to facilitate the troops' operations, training and daily lives.

The military and civil sides have jointly launched the postal service support for the border and coastal defense troop stations, including letters, journals, parcels, express delivery and many other services. Based on the postal service demands of the troops, the post department will timely adjust business hours, increase delivery frequencies and improve service quality to continue to fulfill the postal service demands of the frontline border and coastal defense troops.
