Global Economy

US employment data again performed stronger than expected, but fortunately wage growth continues easing. The Fed will still cut rates around mid-year but might not cut at every meeting - depending on the data.

SA Economy

In South Africa, the economy looked even weaker than what was expected. Conditions should gradually improve once election uncertainty has eased and lower levels of loadshedding should also help.
