Police are appealing for public assistance to locate a woman missing from Sydney's southwest.
Rana Shams, aged 68, was last seen her unit on Bayview Avenue, Earlwood, about 9am today (Tuesday 24 May 2022).
When she didn't return as expected, Rana was reported missing to officers from Burwood Police Area Command, who immediately commenced inquiries into her whereabouts.
Police and family have concerns for Rana's welfare as she lives with dementia and other conditions which require medication.
Rana is described as being of Indian appearance, about 150-155cm tall, of medium build, with black hair and brown eyes.
She was last seen wearing black saree type traditional clothing with a maroon jumper over the top.
