On March 12, 2025, Director-General of the Department of International Organizations and Conferences of the Foreign Ministry Shen Bo met with Ambassador-at-Large for Global and Multilateral Affairs of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Latvia Andrejs Pildegovičs, who was visiting China. The two sides had an exchange of views on issues related to the United Nations Security Council and international and regional hotspots of common interest and concern.
