New York, NY - May 6, 2024 - Barnes & Noble announces Garden Guests as its Game of the Month pick for May. Spring is in the air and beetles are in the garden in this delightful game of teamwork, path building and strategic thinking. The perfect companion for a rainy day stuck inside or a sunny afternoon spent in the park, Garden Guests plants all the seeds for a good time in this multi-player tile placement game.

Individually - or as a team - players must race to construct an unbroken path of stones and beetle colonies that stretches from one end of the garden to the other. But there's a catch! Beetles love their peace and quiet. Therefore, teammates aren't allowed to communicate their strategies while working to build their pathway. Each round, teams alternate drawing or playing cards and must perform one of four actions: Collect Flowers, Build a Colony, Lay a Path, or Pass Flowers. The first player(s) to connect their two sides of the board without being intercepted is the champion.
