End of the Contact Point that took place in Havana at the end of the Sixth Cycle of the Round Table of Dialogues between the government of Colombia and the National Liberation Army (ELN)
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba informs that the Contact Point that took place in Havana after the end of the Sixth Cycle of the Round Table of Dialogues between the Government of Colombia and the National Liberation Army has concluded, which was held from January 22nd to February 6th, 2024, in the capital of Cuba.
The Contact Point was defined by the Colombian Government Delegation and the ELN Dialogue Delegation as a mechanism to facilitate, in the inter-cycles period of the Dialogue Round Table, the necessary coordination for the implementation of what was agreed upon, as stated in Agreement No. 25 on Communications of the Dialogue Table for Peace.
It is also announced that the members of the ELN Dialogue Delegation who stayed in Havana at the end of the Sixth Cycle with the precise objective of participating in the abovementioned Contact Point left Cuba on March 1st, 2024.
