Volunteers Needed for June 10 White Linen Night Art Fest

Looking for a way to get involved with your community and the arts? Sign up today to volunteer at the 2023 White Linen Night Art Fest in League City.

Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks throughout the event, from set-up and clean-up, assisting artists when they arrive, welcoming attendees with maps and souvenir fans, handing out water at cooling stations, and much more. Each volunteer will be provided with a free t-shirt on the training day listed below, and of course, will be able to enjoy the event before or after their shift.

Welcome Team

  • Preferred Volunteer Age: 16 years or older. If younger than 16, volunteers will need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • Overview: A friendly face handing out event maps, fans, and free water bottles to anyone that would like one. Volunteers will be stationed throughout the event with a chair and under a canopy tent, as well as at the two off-site parking locations.
  • Training Day:
    • Tuesday, June 6th
    • 6 pm-8 pm
    • Location: Butler's Courtyard Event Venue, 122 Michigan Ave.
  • Event Day Time Commitment: 2-Hour Shift
    • 4-6 pm
    • 6-8 pm

Artist Arrival Team

  • Preferred Volunteer Age: 21 years or older.
  • Overview: A firm but friendly volunteer that has good attention to detail. This team will be assisting artists as they arrive, to make sure they are in the correct spot and don't get lost.
  • Training Day:
    • Thursday, June 8th
    • 6 pm-8 pm
    • Location: Butler's Courtyard Event Venue, 122 Michigan Ave.
  • Event Day Time Commitment: 11:30 am-4:30 pm

Clean Up Crew

  • Preferred Volunteer Age: 14 years or older. If younger than 14, volunteers will need to be accompanied by an adult.
  • Overview: We always want to leave a place just as good, if not better than we found it, so we need help toward the end of the event with cleanup. Tasks include breaking down canopy tents, breaking down tables & chairs, collecting event signage, and picking up any trash that didn't make it into a trash can.
  • Training Day:
    • Thursday, June 8th
    • 6 pm-8 pm
    • Location: Butler's Courtyard Event Venue, 122 Michigan Ave.
  • Event Day Time Commitment: 7:00 pm-9 pm
