NOTICE OF WATER RIGHT APPLICATION

LAS 28399

Pursuant to AS 46.15.133 and 11 AAC 93.080, notice is hereby given that Eklutna, Inc., 16515 Centerfield Drive #201, Eagle River, Alaska 99577-7719, applied for a permit to appropriate water on January 31, 2012, and updated their application for additional use on October 11, 2024. The applications propose the following:

The total withdrawal of up to 100,000 gallons/day (30,000 initial plus 70,000 additional) from a drilled well, 69 feet deep, year-round, for a commercial computer data center/server farm, located within Tract 2 of Village South Subdivision, according to the official plat thereof, filed under Plat No. 80-199, Anchorage Recording District, Third Judicial District, State of Alaska.

Per AS 46.15.133 (a), within 15 days of publication or service of notice, persons may file with the director written objections. Comments or objections must be made in writing to the above listed address or to [email protected] by 5:00 pm on December 23, 2024. Objection must include the objector's name and address, and any facts tending to show that the rights of the objector or the public interest would be adversely affected by the proposed appropriation.
