Bilateral meeting between Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs and Secretary of State for External Relations of the Republic of Angola, during her visit to Thailand from 7 - 8 March 2024.

On 8 March 2024, H.E. Mr. Sihasak Phuangketkeow, Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs, had a bilateral meeting with H.E. Mrs. Esmeralda Bravo Conde da Silva Mendonça, Secretary of State for External Relations of the Republic of Angola, at Hua Chang Hertiage Hotel, during her visit to Thailand from 7 - 8 March 2024.

Both sides reaffirmed commitments to enhance relations in all dimensions and encourage the exchanges of high-level visits and business delegations. Furthermore, Thailand and Angola stressed on their readiness to conclude pending MoUs and agreements which will serve as a framework to strengthen bilateral relations between both countries such as MoU on Political Consultations and Agreement on Visa Exemption for Holders of Diplomatic and Official/Service Passports between the two countries.

On this occasion, Vice Minister Sihasak emphasised that the current Thai Foreign Policy attaches high importance to the African region and reiterated Thailand's readiness to share with Angola experience and best practices in sustainable development, especially in the areas of agriculture, public health and tourism.
