Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony Scheduled For 6:30 P.M. Tonight
Public Invited To Remember Fallen Officers At Police Memorial Park
The city of Las Vegas and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department will host the annual Southern Nevada Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. tonight at Police Memorial Park, 3250 Metro Academy Way.
The ceremony recognizes and honors law enforcement officers who have died in the line of duty since 1905. The ceremony will include a 21-gun salute and the reading of the names of fallen officers.
Mayor Carolyn G. Goodman, Sheriff Kevin McMahill and Ward 4 Councilwoman Francis Allen-Palenske are scheduled to attend the event.
