Ningbo Symphony Orchestra presents classic music in Qingdao

On the evening of the 14th, the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra held the second concert of "Youth and Fate" at the Music Hall of Qingdao Grand Theater in Qingdao.

Under the guidance of Ningbo conductor Yu Lu, the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra played the prelude of Berlioz's "Roman Carnival", Rimsky Kosakov's "Spanish Capricorn", and Beethoven's "Symphony No. 5 in C minor" for the audience in Qingdao.

When the cheerful prelude to Berlioz's "Roman Carnival" was played, the atmosphere of the concert ignited instantly, and the enthusiastic melody was also a sincere greeting to Qingdao music fans and friends. The subsequent performance of "Spanish Capricorn" is one of Rimsky Kosakov's widely circulated works, presenting the poetic life scenes of the Spanish people. The highlight of this concert is Beethoven's "Symphony No. 5 in C minor", also known as the "Symphony of Destiny", which showcases the magnificent hymn of human progress and not being oppressed by reality.

"Seeing the orchestra from my hometown in Qingdao is so great! The performance is quite exciting and successful! I haven't heard enough of it, I hope Ningbo Symphony Orchestra can come to Qingdao to perform more, "said Fang Xufeng, president of the Qingdao Ningbo Chamber of Commerce, after watching the performance.

Ningbo and Qingdao have much in common. Both cities are coastal cities and the cultural capital of East Asia. This return visit is a dialogue and exchange between Ningbo and Qingdao by using music as a medium, "said Tong Ming, the head of the Ningbo Symphony Orchestra.
