The CPUT Performing Arts Society will be showcasing their talents at the 21st edition of the popular Suidoosterfees.
The play titled The Funeral: Is he being reasonable? is written and directed by N.T Jikwa and explores how different people deal with grief.
It centres around Bathini, a religious young man who was taught to serve God in his church and community. When he experiences traumatic events that lead him to question God and his faith, Bathini takes extreme measures to confront God about his journey on earth.
The actors are Buhle Sihlahla, Lilitha Hiliza and Thato Sikhweni
Jikwa said the show was created to be "very inclusive" of the audience, who will feel that they are part of the show,
"They should look forward to drama and to be taken on a healing journey".
Marysa Leukes from the Department of Sport, Arts and Culture, said the performance is scheduled for 1 May at 17:00 at the NATi Rep Theatre, Artscape.
The tickets are R80 and can be purchased via webtickets.
