Kudos Across America - Chicago

As I was going through TSA PreCheck® at O'Hare International Airport, I realized that I had forgotten my entire wallet at home, 1 1/2 hours away. The agent [Officer] directed me to another line to speak to a supervisor.

Lead TSA Officer Tameka Anderson was called to determine if I would be able to board.

I found a prescription bottle in my purse with my name and address, and she went the extra mile to complete a form and seek additional approval. Throughout the entire process, she treated me with respect and patiently walked me through the process.

Needless to say, I was anxious, embarrassed, and not thinking straight. She was exactly what I needed. She did not raise her voice. She accompanied me through the line, and I truly appreciate her for all of this. She was helping another man simultaneously, and she treated him in exactly the same way.

If she had not put in this extra effort, I would have not been able to book another flight for three days and would have missed a very important family gathering. I wish there was some way I could repay her kindness.

I hope her supervisor sees this and passes along my thanks once again.
