Now Accepting New Patients for Rehabilitation Services

No Need to be Seen by Our Physicians First.

Shriners Children's Philadelphia has offered rehabilitation services to its patients for as long as it has existed. Now, it is simpler for parents to find therapy service, regardless of whether their child is seen by a Shriners Children's physician. Suppose a child is seen by their pediatrician, or other physician, and is prescribed therapy services. In that case, parents and guardians could call directly to get therapy services without seeing one of our Shriners Children's physicians. Compassionate care, coupled with our collaborative approach to treatment, makes us stand apart as a trusted provider for a child with therapy needs.

"We know families are busy. They are often looking to crowdsource for recommendations for therapy services. I'm glad to let more people know we're an option. We are able to serve more patients by offering children and teens the opportunity to access our rehab services, as long as the referral falls within our scope of care," said Mark Bulson, MPT, MHA, rehabilitation director.
