On March 22, Vladimir Putin will present the 2022 Presidential Prize for young culture professionals and the Presidential Prizefor writing and art for children and young people.

The prizes are awarded for creating outstanding literary works and artistic masterpieces, for implementing creative and research projects in the sphere of art, librarianship, museum and publishing activities, the preservation of cultural landmarks, the preservation of national cultures of Russian ethnic groups and their development.

Presidential executive orders stipulate three prizes for young culture professionals (under the age of 35) and writers of works for children and young people. The prizes can be conferred on one candidate or a team of not more than three.
