Georges Fornay and Dan Mackta of Qobuz Named Billboard International Power Players

Two executives from the French Hi-Res streaming and download platform Qobuz - Dan Mackta, Managing Director of North America and Northern Europe, and Georges Fornay, Deputy CEO - are on Billboard's 2024 International Power Players List. It's Dan's first appearance on the list, and Georges' second after making the list last year.

Under both, Qobuz has continued its global expansion by launching into its 25th country (Canada), teaming up with international events such as Festival Bach Montreal and Emma Gaala in Finland, partnering with international labels/organizations such as Blue Note Records, ACT Music, Deutsche Grammophon, ECM, Westbound Records, and the Jerry Garcia Family, and launching the international Qobuz Magazine. Qobuz has also partnered with European hi-fi brands including Bowers & Wilkins and Chord Electronics, and become the go-to streaming service for all the international Hi-Fi shows.
