Cherokee Casino rings in 2024 with Chingy, Petey Pablo

WEST SILOAM SPRINGS, Okla. - It's time to roll out the red carpet for 2024 at Cherokee Casino & Hotel West Siloam Springs. The casino resort welcomes hip-hop mainstays Chingy and Petey Pablo as it celebrates the New Year with a live concert and cash drawings on Dec. 31.

The event is free and open to the public, and guests must be 21 or older to attend.

SEVEN Bar sets the live concert scene with DJ Krisstyle getting the crowd warmed up at 8 p.m. Petey Pablo takes the stage at 10 p.m. An icon of the early 2000s, Pablo is a multiplatinum and Grammy-nominated North Carolina native who's known for rap chart-toppers like "Raise Up," "Freek-A-Leek" and "Carolina Colors." In early 2003, his debut album received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album. "Goodies," his collaboration with Ciara, was certified platinum as it rose to the top of the Billboard US Top 100. Pablo has also appeared on the big screen with roles in "Drumline" and "Just Another Day."

Chingy will take over SEVEN Bar at 11:15, ushering in the New Year at midnight. Chingy, who single-handedly influenced cultural slang with "thurr" and "hurr" following the smash Billboard Hot 100 hit "Right Thurr," achieved superstardom success with seven other Hot 100 hits, including "Holidae Inn," "One Call Away" and many more. He followed his triple-platinum debut album with his second, "Powerballin'," featuring "Balla Baby." He's also known for "Pullin' Me Back" featuring Tyrese, "Dem Jeans," "I Do" and "Fly Like Me," among others.

Cash drawings get kickstarted on Friday, Dec. 29, with seven winners taking home a share of $40,000 at the resort's New Bills Drawings. "Rollin' Into 2024" drawings continue on Saturday with hourly drawings for $5,000 from 5-10 p.m. and the drawing for a 2024 Cadillac Escalade at 11 p.m. Guests can earn entries now.

On New Year's Eve, the $85,000 Blinging in the New Year cash drawings happen hourly from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m. Guests can begin earning entries on Dec. 24. At 9 p.m., the ultimate One Star Rewards giveaway of 100,000 bonus points will be awarded to a lucky winner in the Status Is Everything giveaway.
