Munich, 06/25/2022 - The new btf series King of Stonkscelebrated its world premiere on June 25th at the Filmfest München. The premiere was attended by lead actors Matthias Brandt, Thomas Schubert andLarissa Sirah Herden, alongside showrunners and executive producers Philipp Käßbohrer andMatthias Murmann, and executive producer and director Jan Bonny.

The premiere at Gloria Palast cinema was sold out, thrilling viewers with the first two episodes of the authentic and wonderfully absurd satire about narcissism, megalomania and double standards in the finance world. Guests included actors Bibiana Beglau, Wilson Gonzalez Ochsenknecht, Jean-Luc Bubertand Eva Löbau,producer Judith Fülle, directors Isabell Šuba and Facundo Scalerandi, as well as author Fabienne Hurst. Stars like Anke Engelke, Lena Klenke, Jimi Blue Ochsenknecht, Rainer Jilgand Anne Haugcelebrated the premiere alongside the cast and crew.

After the screening, in a Q&A moderated by Michael Stadler, the King of Stonksteam and cast revealed exciting insights into the shooting of the series and their roles.
