Teltow / Leipzig, 27 January 2022, 2:45 PM - According to preliminary and yet unaudited figures, the Management Board of co.don Aktiengesellschaft, Teltow (ISIN DE000A3E5C08 / DE000A3E5C16; WKN AA3E5C0 / A3E5C1) ("Company") expects a consolidated result according to IFRS of approx. EUR -10.5 million for the past fiscal year 2021 (-24.3% compared to 2020; 2020: EUR -13.9 million). The Company will close the year 2021 significantly better than forecasted (Forecast for 2021: Group earnings between 7-14% moderately more positive compared to previous year or net profit in a corridor of EUR -12.0 and -13.0 million).
According to preliminary and yet unaudited figures, the Management Board also expects a significant improvement in the net loss for the year under German commercial law compared to the previous year. The Management Board anticipates approx. EUR -9.1 million (-33.3% in comparison to 2020; 2020: EUR -13.7 million). The Management Board had forecasted a moderate improvement of 10 - 20% compared to the previous year.
In terms of consolidated sales, the Executive Board anticipates sales of approx. EUR 9.8 million for the past fiscal year 2021 (+57.3% compared to 2020; 2020: EUR 6.2 million) based on preliminary and as of yet unaudited figures and sales in the individual financial statements of approx. EUR 9.1 million (+ 62.2% compared to 2020; 2020: EUR 5.6 million). This means that the Company will achieve its set target of increasing consolidated sales, as well as sales in the individual financial statements, by 50 - 70% compared to the previous year and achieving consolidated sales in the range of EUR 9.5 million and EUR 10.5 million.
