DALLAS -Buckner Terrace Montessori and Children's Health will host a Medical Explorers Day where health professionals will introduce students to various medical careers. From interactive demonstrations to engaging discussions, students will have the chance to gain valuable insights and be inspired by new experiences. Join us for this day of discovery at 9 a.m., Wednesday, May 1.

Upcoming community meeting
The district's Social Studies Department invites the community to a public meeting to discuss educational opportunities focusing on American Indian studies for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year. The meeting will be at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, May 2, at the Dallas ISD Central Administration Building in room 300. Community participation and input are valued to enhance educational experiences and promote cultural understanding.

Inclement weather day
All schools will be closed on Friday, May 3, which has been designated as an inclement weather day. Central offices will remain open during regular business hours.
