A debate on the Challenges and Perspectives of the Labor Market in North Macedonia was held

"This is also a contribution of the academy to show that the labor market in North Macedonia is asymmetrical and we have said this warning at SEEU much earlier. The focus of universities and educational policies should be on the creation of professional staff, which the market requires", said in his opening remarks the Rector Acad. Prof. Dr. Abdylmenaf Bexheti.

Director of Friedrich Ebert Foundation - Skopje Office--Dr. Peter Hurrelbrink said that today we are marking the excellent cooperation between the Foundation and South East European University and the contribution of the panellists and in particular of the academia is very important.

The panelists of this debate were, Festim Halili-Director of the Fund for Innovation and Technological Development; Vladanka Trajkoska-Director of the Organization of Employers of Macedonia; Durim Zekiri-Executive Director of the Chamber of Commerce of Northwest Macedonia, Avni Ismaili-Director of Strategic Planning and Budgets at the Employment Agency and Head of the SEEU Career Center -Lumturije Memedi Sinani.

A constructive atmosphere was also developed in the part of questions by students to the panel, where questions were asked about the development of new opportunities for employment and issues related to the main topic.
