USDA Announces Availability of Low-Interest Physical Loss Loans for Kentucky Producers in 37 Counites Affected by April Tornados

Physical loss loans through the United States Department of Agriculture's (USDA) Farm Service Agency (FSA) can help producers repair or replace damaged or destroyed physical property essential to the success of the agricultural operation, including livestock losses. Examples of property commonly affected include essential farm buildings, fixtures to real estate, equipment, livestock, perennial crops, fruit and nut bearing trees, and harvested or stored crops and hay.

Impacted Area: Kentucky

Triggering Disaster: Tornado, High Winds

Application Deadline: 12/26/2024

Primary Counties Eligible: Anderson, Bourbon, Bracken, Clark, Henry, Jessamine, Mercer, Nelson, Nicholas, Oldham, Woodford.

Contiguous Counties Also Eligible:

Kentucky: Bath, Boyle, Bullitt, Carroll, Estill, Fayette, Fleming, Franklin, Garrard, Hardin, Harrison, Jefferson, Larue, Madison, Marion, Mason, Montgomery, Owen, Pendleton, Powell, Robertson, Scott, Shelby, Spencer, Trimble, Washington.

Indiana: Clark.

Ohio: Brown, Clermont.
