Sexual Predator Arrested in Claverack

PRESS RELEASE

On February 19, 2024, the New York State Police in conjunction with the Columbia County Child Advocacy Center arrested Gregory Brusso, age 66, of Claverack, NY, for Predatory Sexual Assault Against a Child, a class A-II felony, and Criminal Sexual Act in the 1st degree, a class B felony.

After receiving a law enforcement tip, investigation determined Brusso sexually assaulted a child under the age of 13-years-old.

Brusso was arraigned before the town of Claverack Court and remanded to the Columbia County Jail without bail.
