Statement on Passing of James A. Washington

ATLANTA-Mayor Andre Dickens issued the following statement on the passing of James A. Washington.

"Atlanta has lost a great man in the passing of James A. Washington. Whether here at home or other markets, Washington used his talents and acumen in journalism to prompt dialogue on issues centric to Black communities, and we are all better for his work. My thoughts are with his wife and business partner Janis, their children and all who loved him."
