Featured Business: TherapyWorks

TherapyWorks, a pediatric therapy company, opened its first brick-and-mortar location in Northfield in January. The company was founded in 2017 by Erin Vollmer and Michelle Worth, and is on a mission to make high-quality pediatric therapy services more accessible for families.

TherapyWorks has been operating on the North Shore for over six years, initially providing in-home and teletherapy speech therapy services. Since that time, they have expanded their services to include occupational, physical, and most recently applied behavior analysis (ABA), a specific therapy for the treatment of autism. They have also expanded geographically and now offer in-home services throughout the Chicagoland area.

By adding ABA to its suite of therapy offerings, TherapyWorks has become a one-stop shop for services for children with autism. Their relationship-based approach helps children to develop crucial social, communication, and other life skills in a supportive and compassionate environment. The team at TherapyWorks focuses not only on helping children thrive but also on supporting their parents, families, and caregivers.

Central to TherapyWorks' ethos is the understanding that effective therapy extends beyond the clinic. Parent communication and training are integral parts of each child's therapy. Families are partners in progress and are equipped with the tools and knowledge they need to actively participate in their child's development.

You can find the TherapyWorks team in their newly renovated space at 778 Frontage Road, Suite 101. Contact them via phone at 312-780-0820, email [email protected], or visit their website at www.therapyworks.com. They are thrilled to be able to offer their services to the Northfield community and beyond!
