1. Why would you encourage someone in the community to apply to be on a board, committee, or commission?

I believe that being involved in your community is so important. Joining a board, committee, or commission is one way to be more involved in our community and meet others who call Durham home.

2. What do you enjoy most about serving on your particular board?

One of the things I enjoy most about being a member of the Environmental Affairs Board is the collaboration with those in our community who want to see Durham thrive. We are all working towards the mission of making Durham the best it can be.

3. What is your favorite part about living in Durham?

I love how vibrant and multiculture the Durham community is! There is always something to do, a new festival or event to attend, or a local restaurant to try. I love seeing the diversity here and supporting local businesses.
