ARLINGTON, Va. - A new study released today by the Consumer Brands Association reveals the unparalleled economic impact of the consumer packaged goods (CPG) industry in Texas. Conducted by PwC, the research highlights the CPG sector as a major manufacturing employer, supporting more than 1.8 million jobs in the state, which is more jobs than the population of Dallas, and contributing $196.8 billion to the state's economy, which is enough money to build 164 AT&T Stadiums.

Every product lining the shelves of local grocery stores - from the food and beverages we choose to give our families to the household and personal care products that make our lives easier - represents the culmination of a vast economic ecosystem. This robust industry doesn't just serve millions of Texans daily; it fuels job creation, drives innovation and contributes billions to the state's GDP."
