Mowing Reminder

City officials remind property owners that yards need to be maintained. City code, chapter 52, requires lawns be kept at a maximum height of eight inches. Property owners with over-grown vegetation including but not limited to grasses, weeds, vines, and brush exceeding eight inches will be mailed a written notice to comply with city code. In addition, a notice will be attached to the door of the residence or business. After the stated deadline in the notices, city employees will have the yard mowed and bill the property owner accordingly.
