Northbound I-5 Exit to Sassafras Street Closed Tuesday, 5/14

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans maintenance crews will close the northbound I-5 Exit to Sassafras Street on Tuesday from 4 a.m. to 2 p.m. for pavement repairs.

The detour is as follows:

Northbound I-5 motorists may take the offramp to Washington/India Street, proceed north on India Street to Washington Street, then west on Washington Street to Kettner Boulevard, and then south on Kettner Boulevard to Sassafras Street.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
