The Azkoyen Group showcases its latest innovations under the Azkoyen, Ascaso and Vendon brands at the HostMilano trade fair

• HostMilano is the most prestigious international trade fair in the food, distribution and hotel and catering sector and is taking place between 13 and 17 October.

The Azkoyen Group, a Spanish multinational and technological leader, is attending the HostMilano 2023 trade fair, where it will be presenting solutions to meet the diverse needs of businesses in relation to the preparation of coffee. And it will be doing so in two distinct spaces.

On the stand shared by the Azkoyen and Ascaso brands, the complete range of Vitro automatic table-top machines is on display, including new models that allow the brewing of both espresso and filter coffee, very popular in the United States, the Netherlands and Scandinavia. The Vitro range recently won the prestigious New York Product Design Awards prize in the office equipment category. The larger Neo Q machine, which received the "Most Sustainable Equipment" award at the UK's Vendies 2023 awards, as well as the IF Design Award, one of the world's most prestigious design awards, is also on display.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to learn about the MIA technology, which allows the production of milk drinks with exquisite foam using both fresh and dehydrated milk. In September, the MIA technology earned the Innovation Award from the European Vending and Coffee Service Association (EVA).

Meanwhile, Ascaso will be exhibiting its entire range of Home and Commercial machines. The launch of the new H64 home grinder and the new addition of the Barista T 2024 model deserve special mention, with improvements within the range and a larger display to help with the usability and programming of the equipment. The World Coffee Innovation Awards 2023, held in London last week, recognised Ascaso for its sustainability and innovation.

This edition will feature renowned baristas and instructors from the SCA (Speciality Coffee Association), who will guide customers through the extraction and preparation of coffee using the most outstanding features of the machines. They will also offer immersive experiences in order to discover the aromas and flavours of the perfect espresso as well as how to get started in Latte Art.

Vendon, real-time monitoring
Vendon will also be demonstrating, on a separate stand, its telemetry solutions using a flexible platform that allows live monitoring of the activity of various connected coffee machines, without requiring them to be of a single brand. In this way, customers can optimise their business by reducing the number of visits and maintenance operations by using online interventions and data analysis to study machine performance, monitoring in real-time, remotely monitoring stock levels, using innovative contactless and mobile payment systems and improving the customer experience.

HostMilano, the leading trade fair in the sector
The HostMilano 2023 exhibition, which will take place on 13-17 October at the Rho Fiera Milano Exhibition Centre, is the leading international trade show for the food, distribution and hospitality sector. In its 2023 edition, HostMilano has divided the exhibition into three main areas: Professional Catering; Coffee and tea (including coffee machines and vending machines); and Furniture, technology and tableware. The trade fair has more than 2,000 exhibitors from over 50 countries and is expected to attract in excess of 200,000 visitors.
