Photography and Geology in the National Parks Programs

Bowling Green Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with Bowling Green State University, is proud to present a compelling exploration of the early perspectives of national park landscapes.

Led by esteemed professors Andrew Hershberger and Kurt Panter from BGSU, this event will delve into the imagery captured by photographers in the 1860s and the geological insights of early scholars.

Join us as we focus on Yellowstone National Park on April 17th at 7 pm and Yosemite National Park on May 1st at 7pm. Both programs will be hosted at the Rotary Nature Center at Wintergarden/St. Johns Nature Preserve.
