"I would like to express my absolute satisfaction for the readiness level, as well as the fine training, of our National Guardsmen, which I had the pleasure to confirm with my own eyes. In a few days, I will be again with them, to observe an exercise with equally demanding content at Kato Nevrokopi. These fellow citizens deserve only admiration, since they spare neither personal time nor expenses, to contribute in the high cause of our country's defence. The State will continue investing in the National Guard, as recently happened with the passing of Law 5018/2023, which thoroughly upgraded the institution. Let our National Guardsmen know that the State will be everywhere and always supportive of their efforts!"
