Gardner Golf Course Opening

Golfers, grab your clubs-the season is officially here! Garner Golf Course, located at 5101 Golf Course Road, Marion, will open for play on Friday, March 21, weather permitting. Tee times are required and can be booked at PlayCedarRapidsGolf.com.

The clubhouse will open daily at 7:30 a.m. tee times begin at 8:00 a.m. Golf carts will be allowed unless conditions are too wet. Golfers should check with the pro shop or starter each day for the latest cart restrictions.

Preparations are underway to open Ellis Golf Course in the near future. Updates on the opening date for Ellis will be available on the Cedar Rapids Golf website and social media.

Season Passes & Punch Cards Available Now

For those looking to get the most out of the golf season, season passes and punch cards are available for purchase. Passes and punch cards are valid at all three City of Cedar Rapids golf courses and can be purchased:

• Online at PlayCedarRapidsGolf.com
• In-person at Gardner Clubhouse beginning Friday, March 21 - open daily from 7:30 a.m. until dusk
• In-person at Ellis Clubhouse beginning at 9:00 a.m. Monday, March 23; additional hours are dependent on golf course opening
• In-person at Twin Pines Clubhouse - open daily from 7:30 a.m. until dusk

Golfers are encouraged to book early, especially for opening weekend.
