Notice of Utility Tariff Filing

The REGULATORY COMMISSION OF ALASKA (Commission) gives notice that Golden Valley Electric Association, Inc. (GVEA) filed TA375-13, seeking Commission approval of a special contract with Alyeska Pipeline Service Company (Alyeska) for Pump Station 9 Power Sales (special contract). Under the terms of the special contract, GVEA will not utilize Alyeska's pipeline pigging maintenance at Pump Station 9, which is typically performed once every three years, in the calculation of Alyeska's Demand Ratchet, provided Alyeska's pigging operation is limited to less than 24 hours and occurs during the months of June, July, or August, unless otherwise agreed to by the Parties. The special contract also allows for pigging maintenance annually as needed to provide Alyeska the flexibility in the event they must run a follow-up pig run if any issues were found the prior year. The term of the contract is June 1, 2024, to May 31, 2034.
