(Press Release) Korea Exchange Publishes KOSPI USD Spot Index
The Korea Exchange will publish the KOSPI USD Spot Index, a strategic index that can bring about the effect of diversified investment in both stocks (KOSPI index) and the USD, from May 8, 2023.
The KOSPI USD Spot Index was developed to meet the increasing investment demand to ease volatility and seek stable returns in response to the recent expansion of stock market uncertainties. The index is computed by reflecting the change of the KRW-to-USD exchange rate compared to that of the base day, January 3, 2011, to
the KOSPI index in the real time basis.
