Zaruhi Batoyan meets with future politicians and orientalists

The NA deputy of the Civil Contract Faction Zaruhi Batoyan met with future politicians and orientalists passing probation period in Parliament on April 26.

The deputy responded to the students' questions of interest of the Alma Mater, introducing the main areas of her activity, legislative initiatives as well.

The scope of questions of the interns included security issues, as well as the work done in the direction of social security and protecting the rights of persons with disabilities and women.

us vulnerable groups, to provide privileges and social support, but also to promote the exercise of their rights.

Speaking about the work done in the social sphere after 2018, Zaruhi Batoyan singled out the adoption of the RA Law on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, the ratification of the Optional Protocol to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities.

The MP also touched upon the 2019-2023 strategy for gender policy implementation in the RA. Zaruhi Batoyan spoke about the provision of shelters to the victims of violence, as well as the services provided to children, the elderly and persons with disabilities.

The deputy also spoke about the amendments designed by the related package of laws on prevention of violence in the family, protection of persons subjected to violence in the family and restoration of solidarity in the family authored by her and her colleagues Sona Ghazaryan and Tsovinar Vardanyan.
