Military Appreciation Week 2024

The City of Davenport will celebrate Military Appreciation Week: Sunday, May 12 - Saturday, May 18. Mayor Mike Matson kicked off the event at the Wednesday, May 8th City Council Meeting with a Proclamation to formally recognize Military Appreciation Week in Davenport.

Throughout the week, the City of Davenport, along with several businesses and organizations, will offer a number of perks to active members of the military, veterans and their families.

The City of Davenport will provide free green fees at its three golf courses -Emeis, Duck Creek and Red Hawk.

CitiBus offers free rides to Veterans year-round with proof of a VA card, state issued ID that includes a Veterans Stamp, a Military Retirement Card with a photo or an Illinois MetroLink issued Veterans ID.

Quad Cities River Bandits will be offering $2 general admission tickets for their home game on Sunday, May 12th for active and retired military and their families.

Figge Art Museum offers free admission to members of the military and their families year-round.
