Personal Injury Collision # 11/2024, Ellesmere Road and Birkdale Road

On Sunday, February 18, 2024, at approximately 4:51 p.m., police received a report of a personal injury collision at Ellesmere Road and Birkdale Road.

It is reported that:

• a Subaru sedan was westbound on Ellesmere Road turning left to Birkdale Road
• a Kawasaki motorcycle was eastbound on Ellesmere Road
• the Kawasaki motorcycle collided with the Subaru sedan in the intersection
• the rider of the motorcycle was transported to a trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries

The investigation is ongoing by members of Traffic Services.

Police are asking local residents, business, and drivers, who may have seen or heard or possess security or dash camera footage of the area or incident, to contact investigators.
