DoorDash launches Get Giving with Dan Levy, A Socially Responsible Gift Guide

During the most wonderful time of the year, it's important to uplift the small businesses that power, and are at the heart of, local communities. To celebrate the season of giving, DoorDash collaborated with Schitt's Creek star Dan Levy for Get Giving, a curated list of holiday gifts all created by a variety of remarkable small businesses on DoorDash led by immigrants, people of color, and other historically underrepresented entrepreneurs.

From a Vietnamese Coffee Kit and Ethiopian Wine for the beverage connoisseur in your life, to candles and fresh flowers for your self-care loving friend, to Bagel Making Kits and Sundae Starter Kits for the DIY pro on your list, and more, you'll find gifts from more than 40 small businesses across the US and Canada that are Dan Levy approved.

In an exclusive statement, Dan Levy shared, "As a small business owner myself, I always try to support other entrepreneurs whenever possible. I'm so glad that I could partner with DoorDash to curate a gift list focused on local neighborhood shops and restaurants this holiday season. Whether you've already made your list, or you're a last minute shopper, we've put together some unique gift inspirations that'll get to your loved ones on time!"

Starting December 9th through December 28th, shoppers can gift responsibly with DoorDash and Dan Levy's gift guide. Here's how to browse and shop from the DoorDash exclusive gift guide:

  • Get Giving with Dan Levy: Simply open up your DoorDash app and you'll see a banner at the top of the homepage directing you to Get Giving with Dan Levy. The banner will take you to a curated carousel of Dan Levy's gift guide.
  • Choose and personalize your gift: Browse and find the perfect gift from his gift guide! On the checkout page click "send as a gift" to turn any order into a gift order either for on-demand delivery or via Nationwide Shipping. Add the recipient's name, choose from a range of digitally-animated cards for the holidays and craft a personalized message to go along with your gift. Finally, fill in the recipient's phone number through your contact list for a smooth drop off.
  • Place your order and share your gift: After confirming your gift's details, place your order. Share your gift link with your loved one to let them know a treat is on the way, this allows them to track the delivery, and open the virtual message!

DoorDash was founded to empower local communities, and Get Giving with Dan Levy will continue to foster delightful experiences and inspire connections with local businesses in neighborhoods and cities across the country. Get Giving with Dan Levy is now available on DoorDash on iOS, Web, and Android. Check out more on the DoorDash app today!
