Generative AI at ING

Developments around generative artificial intelligence (GenAI) - a type of AI that can generate new content based on what it learns - are coming thick and fast. Our chief analytics officer, Bahadir Yilmaz, explained how ING experiments with GenAI in an interview for The Banking Scene [hyperlink to interview].

"We are looking at different angles where GenAI might help. Firstly, from a risk reduction perspective, and secondly, from a customer experience perspective. We think GenAI can boost productivity, while fully maintaining a human in the loop. We can enhance our current operating model by applying the technologies made available by GenAI".
