Laguna Niguel Youth Committee

The City of Laguna Niguel has a number of commissions and committees that perform a valuable service by providing a means by which the City Council can obtain the advice, opinions, and recommendations of City residents and other members of the community.

Application Period

The City of Laguna Niguel is now accepting applications from interested high school students residing in Laguna Niguel, with a GPA of 2.25 or higher, for appointment to the City's Youth Committee. The Youth Committee consists of up to fifteen (15) members and there are currently ten (10) positions available.

The Laguna Niguel Youth Committee Application is now conveniently available as an online form. To apply, please click the website button below. Applications must be received no later than 5:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024.

Application Deadline: Friday, May 3, 2024, by 5:00 p.m.
LATE OR INCOMPLETE APPLICATIONS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

Interviews will be conducted, by the City Council Liaisons, at the Crown Valley Community Center in the View Room on Thursday, May 16, 2024 beginning at 5:00 p.m. All applicants must be available on that date. Appointments will be effective on September 1, 2024.

Investment, Banking & Audit Committee	Laguna Niguel Resident, Registered Voter, and Substantial Relevant Education/Experience
Military Support Committee	None
Senior Citizens Committee	Laguna Niguel Resident, Registered Voter, and 55 years or older
Youth Committee	Laguna Niguel Resident, High School Student, and Maintain a GPA of 2.25 or higher
