Utility celebrates centennial anniversary; 10 nonprofits receive funds

ORLANDO, FL. - More than $100,000 was raised by 144 golfers at the annual OUC Charity Golf Tournament held Feb. 25 at Shingle Creek Golf Club.

Since 1995, OUC's annual Charity Golf Tournament has donated nearly $1 million benefiting 66 local charities. Along with more than 50 sponsors who participated in this year's event, OUC is proud to donate proceeds to the following nonprofits:

  • A Gift For Teaching
  • Canine Companions
  • Central Florida Community Arts
  • Florida Urban Forestry Council
  • Grace Medical Home
  • Legends Academy
  • National Entrepreneur Center
  • Osceola Council on Aging

  • McCormick Research Institute

OUC is honored to partner with these organizations that are making a profound impact in the Central Florida community," said Linda Ferrone, OUC's Chief Customer & Marketing Officer.
